Paneer Pakoda INGREDIENTS:

  • 200 grams Paneer, cut into desired size
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp Chaat Masala
  • ½ tsp Garam Masala
  • Puvi Cold Pressed Coconut Oil
  • ½ cup besan (gram flour)
  • 2 tbsp rice flour or corn flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tsp Ajwain (carom seeds)
  • 1 small piece of ginger, crushed
  • 1 tsp green chilli paste
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Water for batter

PREPARATION of Paneer Crispy Pakora:

  1. Take the Paneer cubes in a bowl.
  2. Add ¼ tsp chilli powder, garam masala, and chaat masala. Mix well and keep aside.
  3. In another bowl, take besan and add rice flour, salt, ajwain, red chilli powder, and ginger chilli paste.
  4. Gradually add water to the mixture and make a flowing batter that is thick enough to coat the Paneer cubes.
  5. Heat Puvi Cold Pressed Coconut Oil in a pan.
  6. Dip the Paneer cubes in the batter and roll them in breadcrumbs to get a thin coat.
  7. Fry the coated paneer cubes in hot oil over medium flame until golden brown.
  8. Once done, remove the paneer pakodas, sprinkle chaat masala to taste, and serve with sauce and tea.
