Besan Cheela

INGREDIENTS:
• 1 Cup Besan
• ¼ Cup Onion, finely chopped
• ¼ Cup Tomato, finely chopped
• ¼ Cup Coriander leaves, finely chopped
• ½ tsp Ginger, finely chopped
• ½ tsp green Chillies, finely chopped
• ½ tsp Turmeric powder
• ½ tsp Ajwain
• ¼ tsp Red Chilli powder
• Salt to Taste• Puvi Groundnut Oil

PREPARATION:
• Take 1 cup besan in a mixing bowl.
• Add finely chopped onion, finely chopped tomatoes, chopped coriander leaves, finely chopped ginger & finely chopped green chilies.
• Add turmeric powder, ajwain (if ajwain is not there, add cumin seeds) red chilli powder & salt as per requirement.
• Add ½ cup water & mix everything together to make batter with smooth pourable consistency.
• Heat a pan/Tawa & add few drops of Puvi Groundnut oil. 
• When the pan is hot, reduce the flame to medium.
• Pour a ladle of batter on the hot pan & spread it evenly making sure the Cheela doesn’t break.
• Cook the cheela on medium flame.
• Drizzle ½ to 1 tsp oil on the chilla at the edges and all around. 
• Cook the Cheela until the base is slightly golden brown.
• Flip the Cheela & cook on the other side.
• Cook until the other side is golden brown as well.
• Take out & serve hot with Mint Chutney or Tomato Sauce.
